Eric Hoffmann, President
Eric Hoffmann, president of Mountain Construction, knows that a strong work ethic, outstanding attention to detail, superior customer service and a dedication to the client has produced a stellar reputation and a distinguished construction company. Here is his story in his own words:
"I have been working in the field of construction for most of my life. Early on as a child, my family would purchase old Victorian mansions and restore them to their original beauty. Very satisfying work, but very tough. I became quite proficient at re-sanding and finishing old wood flooring; a job I continued for all the old homes and commercial projects for our family businesses. I also re-made old pieces of trim, molding, fireplaces, and doors. My wife Jennifer, our daughters and I moved out to the mountains in 2001. I had been studying log home construction for a couple of years before we decided to make the big move from Iowa. We really felt called to the mountains. I received my general contractor license in New Mexico. The first home we worked on was a log home in Angel Fire, and we had a blast helping the homeowners build their dream log home in the mountains. We had a great work ethic and soon were in great demand by realtors and homeowners that had timely projects. We built a great construction company through hard work, long hours and lots of blessings".
